Dearest Julia, needless to say that I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your most magnificent performance at my birthday brunch. You simply were wonderful from every point of view. Your voice reaches the depths of my soul. You are also so beautiful, poised and charming. I know that one day you will become world famous. You deserve the best that life can offer with that angelic voice of yours, and I wish for you that all your dreams will come true. Please G-d I shall still hear you singing many many more times. May you and your husband be blessed with good health and happiness always, and many thanks once more for agreeing to sing at my party. Everybody commented on how wonderful you were, and we all enjoyed so very much your accompanists who were simply great. Please thank them on behalf of Yigal and myself.

It is with pleasure that I bring Ms. Julia Sokolov to your attention. Julia has been my student at the Jerusalem Academy for the last four years, where she is currently finishing her graduate course. During that period I came to appreciate Julia's talents, her strength of will as well as consistency, her devotion to music in general and to singing in particular. I have had the joy of working with Julia Sokolov for the past year, being her singing professor at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem. I have been steadily and deeply impressed with her progress. Not only does she own a beautiful voice with a most touching timbre, she is also a very good musician, highly musical, sensitive, has a good theatrical sense and is a quick, highly motivated and dedicated student. I firmly believe that Ms. Sokolov deserves all the help and support we, her teachers, can offer her, on the road to becoming what she desires most - a professional, successful singer.
